Series 'DB' Dual Basket Strainers
Colton Dual Basket Strainers assemblies are designed for use in fluid handling systems where flow cannot be shut down for cleaning of screen.
Can be manufactured to any size using a wide variety of body and screen materials built to various industry standards with varying pressure and temperature ratings
Features:
- Four individually operated butterfly valves are used to isolate and divert flow
- Less expensive and generally faster delivery time than traditional duplex basket strainers
- Various body styles to accomodate a wide range of applications
Options:
- Differential pressure gauge and/or switch
- Clamp or quick release basket strainer cover assemblies
- Slave linkage between butterfly valves that will open one valve while closing another
- Pneumatic or electric actuation of butterfly valves
- Automatic or manual strainer blowdown
