Series 'AVDT '

Available in sizes from 1/2" NPT to 1" npt for operating pressures up to 300 psig liquid service at temperatures up to 338 deg. F. and specific gravities down to 0.95.

For installation at the high points of liquid systems to allow for the venting of air during initial system commissioning and for the removal of entrained gasses during system operation.

AVDT Models are:

• Model AVDT-150: for service pressures up to 150 psig
• Model AVDT-300: for service pressures up to 300 psig

• Body: Cast Iron
• Cover: Cast Iron
• Mechanism: Stainless Steel
• Float: Stainless Steel
• Disc: EPDM
• Gasket: Non Asbestos Fibre
• Cover Bolts: Steel

• The soft EPDM seating allows for bubble tight operation and eliminates the nuisance 'spitting' often associated with metal-to-metal seats.
• The cover is fitted with a 1/2" NPT plugged connection. This can be fitted with a full bore ball valve to allow for manual by-pass to decrease start-up time during system filling.

Model 'CT300SS'

Straightway pattern two-piece stainless steel body with integral stainless steel screen. Supplied in 1/2" to 1" sizes with npt ends for service conditions ranging from 25"Hg vacuum to 300 psig saturated steam service.

Thermostatic vents for steam systems are for the removal of unwanted entrained gasses which act as an insulator on heating surfaces and which can be absorbed into the condensate as it cools. Condensate that absorbs the present carbon dioxide becomes corrosive, resulting in the 'etching' common to many return lines.

Series 'CBM'

Forged steel body available in sizes 1/2" to 1" npt for saturated steam pressures up to 250 psig at temperatures not to exceed 500 deg. F.

Features:

• Air discharge temperature can be externally adjusted between 125 and 350 deg. F. (factory set at 160 deg. F.).
• Temperature settings are unaffected by operating pressure
• Built-in strainer

Model 'TS-1' Combination Sight Glass and Check Valve

Available with brass body in sizes 1/2" to 1" npt for maximum operating pressures as follows:
